Risk Communication

For ERM to truly be successful, it requires an organization to clearly communicate with all of its stakeholders to ensure that risks are understood by all. Ignoring the needs of some stakeholders can have disastrous results. There is often too much emphasis on communication in time of a crisis. Instead, communication about risk should be an ongoing process that strives to engage all stakeholders in a constant dialogue with the organization.
