Sustainable Development

Sustainable development directly affects an organization’s ability to achieve its goals. Governments and societies influence elements of sustainable development. By practicing sustainable development, an organization strikes a balance by using social, environmental, and economic elements to meet its current needs.

These elements may also be referred to as social well-being, environmental protection, and economic growth. Sustainable development is a balanced use of resources that fuels economic growth while fulfilling social needs. Its goal is to protect environment without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs and work to ensure that current decisions made and/or programs undertake have positive consequences for future generations.
